Our VUT house is located in Villahoz, an unbeatable place in the south of the province of Burgos. Villahoz is located 27 km from Quintana del Puente along which the E 80 highway circulates between Valladolid and Burgos, and 15 km from Lerma located on the A 1 Madrid – Burgos highway. That is, very well connected by both highways.

Villahoz is located south of Burgos. Typical Castilian town where you can appreciate and visit its extraordinary Renaissance church, the work of Gil de Hontañón from the 16th century.

It is very close to other centers of artistic interest such as the towns of Mahamud and Santa María del Campo, recognizable by the famous Renaissance tower of the church, the work of Diego de Siloé, and for the temple housing the first paintings by Pedro Berruguete when he returned from Italy, which makes him the bearer of the Renaissance spirit that will permeate all Castilian painting from then on.

In addition, it is located just 17 km from the ducal city of Lerma, where the Duke of Lerma, prime minister and prince of Philip III, left his mark. This city is home to numerous convents and churches and the famous Doge's Palace, today a tourist parador, all of it with the best counter-reformation architecture from the beginning of the 17th century.
